Pets found family!

We rely on the kindness of so many human-angels to give our rescued animals a place in their hearts and homes. And our adoption requests are always met with warmth and acceptance. So many of our rescued pups and adult dogs go to loving homes and live a life full of joy. Not only will this give loving homes to the amazing Indian breed dogs, it will also help in eradicating cruel puppy mills and puppy farms culture, one the most heinous forms of animal cruelty.

Having a rescued dog as a pet changes lives of both the dog as well as the family adopting it. In the fast-paced urban life today, a pet teaches you to live in the present, to forgive and forget, to pause and look around to be grateful for every moment!

Thank you Bala and Kavitha!

He found a Dream Home and a Dream Family

Charlie was brought to the shelter because he was abandoned or had lost his way. He spent a couple of memorable months with us before being adopted by Bala & Kavitha, his amazing family.
Charlie’s story is so common and yet so heart breaking. Fortunately, Charlie’s person came and saw the boundless beauty and the infinite joy and love this lovely boy had to offer.
Today, he lives a joyful life with his mom & dad, and enjoys a life only a fortunate few doggies get. We are beyond happy for his adoption and his transformation.

Thank you Aparna!

Lost a Limb but Found Happiness,

Hari lost his back limb to an injury and was brought to us while he was still a fragile fledgling.
His leg was damaged to an extent of no recovery and had to be amputated. We nursed Hari to health and never imagined him being picked by a kind soul as a potential pet.
We were prepared that he will spend all his life with us, as a sanctuary dog who, because of his disability, was instantly invisible to all eyes looking for a pet.
But we couldn’t be more wrong!
His angel came. Her name was Aparna. She is the kindest person we know and she took not only Hari in but also Nandi, the paralyzed dog who had no hope of being adopted.
Today, Hari and Nandi live together with Aparna and her amazing family, and are showered with love and care that these gentle souls deserved!

The Gentle Warrior Found a Home (Despite his Disability)

When Nandi came to us after a terrible car-accident that broke his spine and left him paralyzed, it was almost understood that he will spend the rest of his life as a miserable disabled dog who, despite our best efforts, will not be able to enjoy his life like every dog should.
But Nandi did not give up to his disability and was an energetic puppy who was not ready to surrender to his cruel fate and lived happily with an adorable twinkle in his eye!
Thankfully, this twinkle was discovered by Aparna, the kind lady who also decided to adopt Hari, the three-legged dog the same day. Today, Nandi has Hari as her companion and they have a huge space to run around and play with each other. And the love that Aparna’s whole family gives Hari and Nandi makes us bless them a thousand times!

Thank you Anusha!

Thankfully, Timmy’s story is one with no unfortunate abandonment, no gruesome cruelty, no obnoxious injury and no sad twists and turns.
It is one of comfort, care and love that she got right from the beginning of her life which happened to be from our shelter as she was born here along with her sibling.
And it got even better when Anusha came to the shelter, instantly fell in love with her and decided to take her home!
She has now been renamed Coco and is sweet and warm, just like her new name!
Coco now rules the show in her house, gets whatever she wants with her puppy eyes, makes her family obey her whims and fancies, who happily do all of this for this lovely girl they call their own!

Snowy aka Oscar, From an abandoned pet to a YouTube Star!

Before coming to Sarvoham, Snowy was a pet with a family who one day decided to dump him on the road and leave him out to fend for himself on the streets he was not familiar with! He was roaming in the streets when someone reported him to us and we took him in.
Snowy’s friendly nature and his beautiful looks instantly made him popular with all potential pet-parents who visited Sarvoham to adopt a pet.
A wonderful family was finally the one to get this gorgeous boy! They adopted him and renamed him Oscar. Look at him, isn’t he a real prize!
Oscar is now the star of the fun and informative YouTube videos his mom makes!

Mayank’s long-term loyalty, service and love couldn’t melt his previous family’s heart, so when he developed a minor, treatable skin condition, they dumped him on the road without a second thought. He came to Sarvoham as a 7-year-old dog and was promptly treated for his skin issue.
And in a couple of months, he became the gorgeous boy he is today and won everyone’s heart with his gentle demeanour and docile nature.
Looking at the sweetness of his soul, a loving family adopted him, despite him being an 8-year-old senior now. This family is a blessing for Mayank and has given him the time and patience needed for him to settle well with them and accept them as his new people.
Mayank is now almost 10 years old and continues to live a life of bliss with this generous family who turned his life around for better!

From an Unfortunate Mother to a Cherished Pet

Krishna was an unfortunate mother who was a victim of human cruelty. She was thrown away from her locality, along with her newly-born puppies, just because she gave birth to another litter!
When we found Krishna, most of her puppies were already dead of malnourishment and we could only save one.
We brought both Krishna and her precious child to our shelter and attempted to give them a life happy enough to make them forget the scars of the heinous cruelty they had endured.
But Krishna was so forgiving and affectionate that she soon showed the more vivacious side of her personality and filled with joy and light every life she touched!
Krishna was two years old when a wonderful family met her and welcomed her in their home. And although she was already two years old when she was adopted, she took no time settling in with these awesome people! Krishna today lives an amazing life, plays with her human brother, and adds to the happiness and delight of her entire family with her quirks and tantrums.

Scared no More, Pari Found a Home!

Pari was one of those puppies in the treacherous streets of India who rarely survive to adulthood due to the diseases and disasters that often lurk in there. We found her lying in an empty plot after she had met with an accident.
When we brought her to our shelter, she stayed quiet and timid, shy and afraid until a human angel came in the form of her dad! He took her in and gave her love and comfort enough to make her grow into a beautiful furball who is not afraid of anything except her doggie sibling stealing her snacks or sleeping in her bed.
Pari is now a gorgeous bundle of joy who adds delight and excitement to her dad’s life!
We couldn’t have imagined a better home for our Pari, and pray that all our shelter animals get a chance to experience the happiness she enjoys each day!

Thank you Gowri!

Pinky is now Rani, the Queen!
(And she surely lives like one)

Pinky came to Sarvoham as a precious little puppy. She did not have a disease or injury so you might wonder why she was brought to us. Actually, Pinky trusted a human and allowed him to pick her. But that human used her trust to dump her away from her mother, away from the place where she belonged!
Thankfully, not all humans are callous and duplicitous! While one misused her trust, another compassionate family came to offer her their love and a cherished place in their home! Today, Pinky has been adopted and rechristened as Rani. She lives in that loving home with her kind parents who pamper her like a queen and hence her name Rani (meaning queen). And guess what, Pinky (Rani) still trusts humans with all her heart and we are happy to know that her trust shall never be betrayed again!
