Story

We are Sarvoham and we are an animal NGO based out of Bangalore. Our 200+ dogs are being forced to move out immediately. We must find a new location and raise funds or our dogs will lose their home.

For over 6 years, we’ve been providing a safe haven for stray dogs in Bangalore. Where we’ve saved over 2500 dogs, given a loving home to 210, and currently rescue 3-4 dogs every day, many of whom are paralyzed, blind and have chronic illnesses.

During our relocation process, we still have to provide care and attention for over 80 dogs who are undergoing treatment. Hence, we will require donations, so we may continue providing them with the medications they require to reduce their pain and suffering, and improve their health.

Our relocation plan:

Transporting 200+ dogs is no easy task and will require lots of time, effort, and resources. Our dogs need to be moved safely and securely and their living arrangements at the new premises needs to be carefully considered.

We know this will be difficult, but we believe it will benefit our dogs in the end. Every dog we have homed over the past 6 years will truly and happily live the rest of their life in this new sanctuary.

Our commitment to rescuing dogs in need:

Aarti suffered without help for two weeks, after a brick fell on her head in a construction zone. She had hundreds of maggots in her wound and was in a lot of pain.

She was so weak and malnourished, she could not even open her mouth to eat. After 2 days of treatment, she took her first bite of food!

Aarti’s wound is fully healed now and she is well enough to eat everyone’s food! Aarti is now a happy dog and we are so proud she got another chance to experience life.

Just like her, hundreds of neglected dogs are left without treatment. They too deserve the basic right of medical care and we want to make sure we are there for them. Every rescue we take in has a different story that has led them to us. We will always be their voice and their guardians.

Please donate to our rescued dogs so they can find safety and security in our new shelter. A better tomorrow for them is possible if we come together today to show them love and kindness. With your donation, they will always have a place to call home.

You’re invited to visit our shelter any day between 11am to 4pm to see our doggies. Our animals and staff would be thrilled to have you, and no prior permission or formality is required. Seeing the difference your help has made is a joy to cherish forever.

Together we can give these innocent, rescued dogs a forever home.

Project Overview

“Embark on a compassionate journey as we relocate our animal shelter to a new, purpose-built sanctuary, providing a haven where every creature finds love, care, and a forever home.”

 Updates

Dear Donors,

“Thank you” is a small thing to say for all the support and help you have extended to Sarvoham. The trust you have endowed upon us means everything to us. So, first of all, please accept our endless gratitude! 🙏🐾

Over the past six months, we’ve been diligently searching for a suitable piece of land for our Forever Home in and around Bannerghatta, Bangalore, India. We’ve identified a few potential properties, and legal formalities are underway. With your help, we hope to finalize a decision soon. 🤞

But there are challenges to this dream! To never have to face the stress and challenges of relocation again, we are looking for a piece of land that is at least ten acres in area. It might sound ambitious today, but buying a smaller, affordable piece of land now, and relocating again a few years later due to space constriction, seems to be a colossal waste of effort and resources. More importantly, the repetitive stress of being transported from one home to another, and the anxiety of having to adjust in a new place again and again will strain our rescued animals and might leave them psychologically and physically distressed.

To buy such a large piece of land, to create a safe sanctuary for disabled animals of all species, and to construct a well-equipped treatment facility on it, the amount of funds needed is huge! So, one thing is certain; to use our donors’ funds judiciously and make plans that are dedicated to serving all animals in the long run, this relocation is going to be a long-term project. The soaring land prices in Bangalore emphasize the urgency of our mission, especially as the sole animal rescue shelter in South Bangalore.

But so far, we have only managed to raise a small fraction of the funds required for this sanctuary. So, I request you all to open your hearts to this noble cause and donate generously, as you always have! Without your cooperation, I would not have been able to run Sarvoham and save thousands of precious lives over the last seven years! And I’m certain that without your help this dream of a permanent sanctuary would only remain a dream. So, let’s pledge to come together to make Bangalore a better place for animals. Please donate to help us attain this collective dream!

Thank you, a million times, for reading this update, for your help, and your continuing support to Sarvoham and our beloved animals! We’ll meet you soon with a new update. Until then, fingers crossed!

With immense gratitude,

Haris Ali
Founder & President

🙏 A Heartfelt Thank You for Your Support in Building Our Permanent Sanctuary! 🏡🐾

We want to express our deepest gratitude for your generous contribution toward our dream of constructing a permanent sanctuary for rescued animals. Your support is a beacon of hope, guiding us on this transformative journey.

While we have made significant strides in planning and fundraising for our sanctuary, we want to be transparent about our current progress. As of now, we are actively searching for the perfect land to establish our sanctuary and finalizing the necessary arrangements. The path to finding the right location is a critical step, and your donation is instrumental in helping us achieve this goal.

Your continued support is essential as we navigate this phase of our project. We are still in need of contributions to secure the land, build the sanctuary, and provide a loving forever home for these deserving animals. Your contribution is a vital piece of the puzzle, and we are reaching out to our community to join us in this important endeavor.

We want to assure you that your donation is making a significant impact on our mission, even as we work diligently to secure the land. Every rupee/dollar brings us one step closer to providing a safe haven for animals in need.

We will keep you updated on our progress and developments, and we invite you to be a part of this incredible journey every step of the way. Your support, both now and in the future, is what will make our vision a reality.

Once again, thank you for your unwavering commitment to our cause. Your generosity inspires us, and we are deeply grateful for your partnership in our mission to create a lasting sanctuary for rescued animals.

With heartfelt appreciation,
